On Wednesday, chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao urged the people of the State to jointly celebrate the milad-un-nabi and Ganesh immersion festivals in order to propagate the spirit of ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb throughout the world. As god intended, both holidays fall on the same day.

He asked devotees participating in the Ganesh immersion to take all necessary safety precautions in the wake of the torrential rains. He said that the State administration had made meticulous preparations for the immersion in the metropolis as well as around the State. He expressed satisfaction that Ganesh Navatari was widely observed in a magnificent way.

Under the ghmc limitations, the normal demand for trailers and large vehicles during idol immersion would be between 40,000 and 50,000, but officials anticipate a higher demand this time. The Ganesh pandal organisers anticipate a significant increase in the cost of leasing cars for processions due to the increase in demand. The organisers often reserve many cars from States like as Andhra Pradesh, tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and even haryana and bihar during the festivities in addition to those from the city.
