As both factions of the nationalist congress party (NCP) led by sharad pawar and ajit pawar are set to appear
before the election commission later this week, senior party leader supriya sule said there is no reason for
sharad pawar to lose the party and election symbols. There is no question. He stressed that it is clear that the
party will remain with its founder. Sule said, I believe there is no question of it (party name and election
symbol) going. The party was founded by sharad pawar and it should remain with him, it is clear.
Both groups have been called for hearing

BJP-Shiv Sena government in Maharashtra. Eight other ncp MLAs were also involved in the rebellion along
with Ajit Pawar. Since then, both the factions have been claiming the name and symbol of the party before the
election commission of india (ECI). ECI has called both the groups for hearing on 6 October. Confirming that
he would be present for the ECI hearing, sharad pawar said, Everyone knows who the party founder is.
What did sharad pawar say?

political stance, and I do not want to comment on it because that is their right in a democracy. But, the people of
Maharashtra and the country Rest of the people know who is the founder of NCP. There is truth in what my
people say. The situation is favorable for us. He also said that those who have joined hands with bjp cannot be
from NCP. Meanwhile. ajit pawar said that he will accept the final decision of the election Commission.
