Only a few days are left for the assembly elections in Rajasthan. Both bjp and congress are canvassing every
assembly and announcing candidates to form their government. Have also done it on many assemblies. Thus, 28
seats are considered important in the politics of Rajasthan. Out of these 28 seats, there are 16 such seats whose
figures show that the government is formed by the party which won these seats. The figures of the last 5
assembly elections are telling this. Talking about st seats in rajasthan, there are 25 seats out of 200 which are
in different districts of rajasthan except 16.
From cm, PM to senior leaders visited here
The 16 seats we are talking about are 4 out of 6 districts of udaipur division, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara
(this new division has been formed) and 16 seats of Udaipur. These seats are reserved for ST. That means tribal
voters dominate here. To woo these voters, before the code of conduct, PM narendra modi to cm Ashok Gehlot
and senior leaders of both the parties have visited. rahul gandhi has also come here. This is the biggest example
of why these seats are important in the politics of Rajasthan. In this, 2 seats are reserved in Pratapgarh, 5 in
Banswara, 4 in Dungarpur and 5 in Udaipur.
In the last 5 elections, whoever favored the tribals was in power.
Talking about the last 5 assembly elections, tribal voters have cast their votes once in favor of bjp and once for
Congress. The result was as per their choice because the government kept changing. However, there has been an
upheaval only in the last 2018 elections. Because the tribals from here liked bjp but congress party came to
power. Because in the last election out of 16, 8 were bjp, 5 were congress and 3 others. Whereas in the year
2013 there were 14 bjp and congress 2, in the year 2008 there were 13 congress, 2 bjp and one other, in the
year 2003 there were 9 bjp, 5 congress and 2 parties.
