Divya Kala mela is a powerful campaign of the government to harness and value talent, Union minister Dr. virendra kumar said. "Divya Kala Mela" was organized from 17th to 26th november 2023 at Kala Shetra Grounds, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai. Union minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. virendra kumar addressed the closing ceremony as the special guest.


Speaking then, he said that "Divya Kala Mela" helps to fulfill the promise of "Self-reliant India" and create awareness in every corner of the country. Apart from that, the exhibition is a powerful campaign of the government to “Utilize Talents” “Respect Talents”. It continues to be a strong campaign to connect differently-abled artisans, artists, artisan entrepreneurs with employment opportunities on a large scale.

He said it has been proven.


Also, the "Divya Kala Mela" plays an important role in realizing the prime minister Modi's call of "Voice for local People". Apart from that, he said, the exhibition generated a revenue of over Rs.1 crore. More than 100 people from 20 states and union territories participated in this "Divine Art Mela". Handicapped artisans, artists, entrepreneurs showcased their talents, art and entrepreneurship. And the talent of thousands of people who visited this exhibition was appreciated.


Earlier, at the fair, minister Dr virendra kumar presented awards for Best Sales, Innovative Product, Best Stage Show and Best Female Participant.
