
The indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)'s new launch vehicle, SSLV, will also launch its third test. isro plans to launch six PSLVs, three GSLVs and one Mark-3 spacecraft by 2024, the Union government said in the Rajya Sabha. In a written reply to a question raised in the Rajya Sabha, minister of State in the Prime Minister's office Jitendra Singh said that the third test of the indian Space Research Organization's (ISRO) new missile SSLV will also be launched.
It plans to carry out two tests under the Gaganyaan program to send humans into space. A manned launch module and an orbital module are to be tested. Also, isro is planning to test the crew escape system of Gaganyaan project in several scenarios using a test missile, the minister's reply said. The indian Space Research Organization also plans to test reusable missiles under a commercial contract with NewSpace india Limited (NSIL). Six PSLV rockets will launch one space exploration satellite, one Earth observation satellite, two technical utility satellites and two commercial utility satellites of NSIL.
Three GSLV rockets have launched a meteorological satellite, a navigation satellite and a NASA-ISRO radar satellite. An LVM 3 rocket will also be launched commercially.
