The court had sentenced bjp mla Ramdular Gond from Duddhi assembly, who was convicted in the rape

case in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. Sonbhadra’s MP-MLA court had given its verdict in this matter. Before the

decision on punishment, there will be a debate on the points of punishment at 12 o’clock, after which the decision

on punishment will come at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. On december 12, bjp mla from Duddhi assembly seat

Ramdular Gond was found guilty in a rape case by the court, after which the court sent him to jail. After the BJP

MLA has been declared guilty, the decision on his punishment will be taken today. A case is going on against him

in the POCSO and rape cases since 2014. The court has declared the mla guilty in the case of sections 376 and

201 of the IPC.

Should be sentenced to 20 years

After the court declared bjp mla Ramdular Gond guilty, the victim’s brother called it a victory of justice. He said

that the accused should be sentenced to at least 20 years. Now everyone's eyes are on the court to see what

punishment the court gives to the mla in the case. Earlier on december 8, satya prakash Tiwari and Vikas

Shakya had argued on behalf of the prosecution. The court had reserved the decision after hearing the arguments of

both the sides.

Know- what is the whole matter

According to the prosecution, this case is of november 4, 2014. When a man resident of a village in Mayorpur

police station area had filed a case against Ramdular Gond for raping his minor sister while he was her husband.

Ramdular Gond is also accused of making a fake school certificate of the victim. To avoid the POCSO Act, the

date of birth of the victim was extended and the school certificate was tampered with to declare the girl as an adult.
