What Labor minister Prahlad patel wrote on facebook post, "This temporary arrangement has been made again after the news of Lokayukta investigation on the noble person who was temporarily attached to me by the Labor Ministry, Bhopal. But my clear opinion is that The department heads should take responsibility and do the screening so that the permanent or temporary arrangement remains completely flawless."
In fact, in the order issued on thursday (January 11), the state government has made Betul Labor Officer Dhamdeep Bhagat the temporary OSD of Labor minister Prahlad patel with the current charge. Before this, the government had posted Deputy Labor Commissioner indore Lakshmi prasad Pathak as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the personal staff of Labor minister Prahlad patel, against whom the Lokayukta had sought sanction for prosecution from the government one and a half months ago.
The director General of the Special police Establishment in Lokayukta had sent a letter to the government on 10 november 2023, in which it is written that a challan has to be presented in the court against Deputy Labor Commissioner indore Lakshmi prasad Pathak, hence sanction for prosecution should be given. After this, when there was an uproar, the government withdrew the order to appoint Deputy Labor Commissioner Pathak as OSD in the personal posting of the Labor Minister.
