Accordingly a mega plan is being prepared by the Mohan Yadav government to keep the memories of Lord Shri ram intact wherever his feet lay in Madhya Pradesh. Apart from Chitrakoot, such places are being investigated from where Lord Shri ram and Mata Janaki had gone during their exile. There is a plan to develop them by including them in the ram Van Path Gaman project. Evidence of one such place has been found on the banks of Narmada in Jabalpur. It is believed that Lord Shri ram crossed the narmada river from here and left for Dandakaranya forest. In fact, today when the whole country is eager for the consecration of Ramlala's life, efforts are also being made to know where in the country the feet of Lord Shri ram had fallen at that time. In the same sequence, the land which was adorned by the feet of Ramji in jabalpur will now be developed in terms of religious tourism. That place is Ramghat Pipariya on the banks of Narmada, which is in Shahpura tehsil of the district.
jabalpur collector Deepak Saxena himself visited Ramghat Pipariya. After visiting the temples there, he instructed the officials to prepare an action plan for its development. Let us tell you here that Ramghat Pipariya, a dependent village of Gram panchayat Magarmunha under Shahpura tehsil, is now going to be connected to the Ramayana Circuit. It is believed that Lord Shri ram had come to Pipariya Ramghat during his exile and crossed the narmada river and left for Dandakaranya forest. Ramghat Pipariya is also mentioned in number 57 in the list of Lord Shri Ram's places of visit of the Shri ram Cultural Research Institute Trust of the government of India.
