Republic Day celebrations are celebrated in delhi every year on 26th January. On the occasion of Republic Day, a parade of vehicles representing the cultures of various states and Union Territories will be held at the Rajpath in delhi on that day.
Accordingly, the 75th Republic Day of the country will be celebrated on the 26th. At that time, parade of armed forces and paramilitary forces, decorative parade of states and central ministries departments, children's cultural programs, motorcycle adventures, air adventure etc. will be held on the delhi duty route.
In this situation, on the occasion of Republic Day, it has been announced that flight services will be suspended for more than 2 hours every day from today till Republic Day at delhi Airport. An airport official said that there will be no arrival or departure of flights at the delhi airport from 10.20 am to 12.45 pm every day till january 26.
Earlier, the ban was in force only for non-scheduled flights with some exceptions. But the Airports Authority of india has made amendments to the NOTAM, a notification for Airmen. Accordingly, new regulations have come into effect.
As per the new restrictions, there will be no arrival or departure of flights from 10.20 am to 12.45 pm at delhi airport from 19th january (today) to 26th january in view of Republic Day. Similarly, airspace restrictions will be in force in national capital delhi till Republic Day for security reasons.
