In the second phase, voting will be held on april 26 in 7 lok sabha parliamentary constituencies Tikamgarh, Damoh, Khajuraho, Satna, Rewa, Hoshangabad and Betul. In the third phase, voting will be held on May 7 in 8 lok sabha parliamentary constituencies Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, bhopal and Rajgarh. Similarly, in the fourth phase, voting will be held on May 13 in 8 lok sabha parliamentary constituencies Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Indore, Khargone and Khandwa.

All the district collectors of the state issued various restrictive instructions using the power given under Section 144.

1. No more than 5 or more persons will gather at one place at a time without the permission of the competent authority.

2. No person, group, organization or other public place will carry or use any kind of sharp or other weapon, firearm, hockey stick, stick, rod etc. Aerial fire will be prohibited in any kind of festival or celebration.

3. No person, group, organization or other will organize any meeting, protest, procession, vehicle or general rally etc. at any place without the permission of the competent authority. Any kind of political activity will be completely prohibited on government or non-government school grounds or buildings, government office premises.

4. No person or institution, group dj or band operator or anyone else will use the band or dj or sound equipment without the permission of the competent authority.

5. No individual, organization, group or any other person will keep or carry or use inflammable substances like acid, petrol, kerosene etc. during any protest, procession, demonstration, meeting or rally etc.

6. Use of firecrackers or explosive materials in any type of protest, procession, demonstration, meeting or rally etc. will be completely prohibited.
