Vishika leader Thol Thirumavalavan is contesting in chidambaram constituency


Deep worship of Thiruma at temple before submission of nomination

Thirumavalavan, leader of the Liberation Tigers of india contesting for the chidambaram Lok Sabha seat, filed his nomination papers with the election Officer today.


The DMK-led coalition, which is a member of the All india Alliance, has allotted 2 constituencies which it has already won in chidambaram and Villupuram to the Liberation Tigers of India. Vishika leader Thol Thirumavalavan is contesting in chidambaram constituency. Earlier, important leaders including Ministers Panneerselvam, Sivashankar, CV Ganesan, Life Rights party leader Velmurugan, and former congress leader Alagiri participated in the activists' meeting held yesterday in Cuddalore under chidambaram constituency.

Following this, Thirumavalavan today submitted his nomination petition to ariyalur District collector and election Conducting Officer Annie Mary Swarna, accompanied by Ministers Sivashankar and Panneerselvam.



Before filing his nomination papers, Thirumavalavan personally visited his clan deity Mayavan Kulatheiva temple in his native village Anganur village of ariyalur district. There the temple priest gave a welcome to the candidate Thirumavalavan by garlanding him and tying a circle on his head. Thiruma filed his nomination after completing the special worship at the temple
