The krishna Water Disputes Tribunal (KWDT)-II has refused to accept the plea of the andhra pradesh (AP) government for an extension to submit a Statment of Case (SoC) and counter-argument about its claims on sharing of krishna water with Telangana.The telangana government has objected to AP's claim. It expressed its opinion that the election Code is not an obstacle for pending cases. The telangana government has argued that ap is delaying water disputes on purpose. The krishna Tribunal heard the arguments regarding the two states. The tribunal rejected AP's argument that it should be given time till june to submit the statement. The tribunal adjourned the next hearing to May 15.
