Based on a viral video, faridabad police took cognizance of the matter. saran police registered a case against Bittu Bajrangi and his associates under various sections including causing hurt, wrongful imprisonment, criminal intimidation, etc. Inspector Sangram Dahiya, in charge of saran police station, said that after joining the investigation, Bajrangi got bail on monday morning. After getting bail, the police made Bajrangi write an affidavit. In the affidavit, he has assured that he will not be a participant in any such incident in the future.

Inspector Sangram Dahiya said that given the lok sabha elections, the police will keep an eye on Bittu Bajrangi. Bittu Bajrangi can be arrested again if any complaint is received regarding his involvement in any untoward incident. police have also taken action against the gunman deployed for Bittu's security. Departmental action and dismissal against the gunman have been recommended to higher authorities. The cyber police team is monitoring the activities of Bittu Bajrangi.
