Railway renovation work in Chennai. The train route is going to change.
It has been reported that due to track renovation work, trains coming towards chennai will go northbound.
Railway Passengers
It has been announced that the schedule of suburban trains has been changed due to ongoing work. On the Guntur-Krishna Canal section, some trains were affected and diverted due to the ongoing renovation of the South Central Railway line.
Chennai Trains
Train No. 12077, vijayawada Jan Shatabdi Express, mgr left chennai Central at 7.25 am. The train will run through Denali, Tukhrala, and krishna Canal and will stop at New Guntur. It will remain unchanged from april 10-30.
Southern Railway
Train No. 16031, Sri vaishno devi Katra andaman Express leaving Dr. mgr chennai Central at 5.15 am has also been diverted. The train will be operated via Denali, Tuggirala, and krishna Canal. It runs from april 10-28.
North-bound trains
Train No. 16093, lucknow JN Express, departed from mgr chennai Central at 5.15 am and has been diverted. It will now be operated through Denali, Tukhkrila, and krishna Canal. It will continue from april 13 to 30.
Indian Railways
As for suburban trains, it has been informed that Moor Market Complex Arakkonam IMU local trains will run fast on april 10 and 11.
