In jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh, the administration is taking full action to expose the nexus between private schools and uniform-book sellers. On tuesday (April 9), five SDMs simultaneously started checking the bookstores. Many irregularities have come to light during the investigation, which will be handed over to the collector in the form of a report. Has been told by the administration that thousands of books with fake ISBNs (International Standard Book Number) have been found in these shops, which means that they do not belong to any registered publication. In many shops, books of the same class and the same syllabus are found at different prices.

Collector deepak Saxena had ordered an investigation

Given the looting of copies, books, uniforms, and other educational materials in jabalpur district after the school opened on april 1, collector deepak Saxena had given instructions for investigation. First of all, many schools were investigated and cases were registered against the schools. Now book stores are being constantly inspected. collector deepak Saxena said that a complaint was received about the selling of duplicate books in large numbers in the city. These are fake books, which have been printed by an unregistered publication and were being sold to earn profit.

Raid on bookstores

To catch such books, the ISB number i.e. international Standard Book Number of all the books is being searched. Those who do not match the book numbers are being confiscated. Regarding this, 5 SDMs took action together on Tuesday. After the investigation, the side of the bookstores will also be known, and after that appropriate action will be taken. During the investigation, it was found that books of the same syllabus and the same class were being sold at different prices in the city. The syllabus of both the books is the same. But there is a difference of about Rs 100 in their rates.
