Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj had claimed that the supreme court granted bail on the same arguments based on which the high court had refused to grant bail to Sanjay Singh. He expressed confidence that arvind kejriwal will get relief from the supreme Court. On the other hand, arvind kejriwal has received a setback from Delhi's Rouse Avenue court in another case. He had filed a petition requesting to meet the lawyers five times a week. The demand has been rejected by the court.
Delhi cm arvind kejriwal was arrested by ED on the 21st of last month. The ED had taken him on remand and interrogated him twice. However, in the hearing held on april 1, he was sent to judicial custody till april 15. At present, he is serving his detention period in Tihar Jail. The court has allowed him to meet lawyers and family.
