West Godavari district is one of the districts in andhra pradesh where the alliance influence is strong. Jana Sena leader Bolishetti srinivas seems to be getting the upper hand over YSP minister Kottu Satyanarayana in Tadepalligudem as well. Only in bhimavaram is the ycp sitting mla Grandhi srinivas giving a tough contest. In Undi, as the flames in tdp are extinguished, the atmosphere will change so that Raghuramaraju, who is contesting from tdp, will win there as well. Although there is no guarantee that the ycp will win one seat in the parliament, there is a belief in the ycp that there will be a cross-voting in favor of Umapas when it comes to the parliament.

With the bjp symbol as a part of the alliance here, some social groups, BCs, traditional vote banks of ycp, etc. are also running an internal campaign that they are turning towards the ycp candidate. Actually, Gokaraju Gangaraju, who won from this parliament on behalf of the bjp in 2014, got a majority of only 74 thousand votes.
