Andhra Pradesh chief minister Jaganmohan reddy has unveiled his manifesto ahead of the upcoming elections, emphasizing his commitment to fulfilling promises made in the previous election cycle. He lamented his inability to compete with the deceitful promises of his opponent, Chandrababu, in 2014, which led to his defeat, citing the failure to fulfil those promises by Chandrababu's administration. In his latest manifesto, he reaffirmed his dedication to development and announced key assurances.

While maintaining continuity with existing schemes under Navaratna, some adjustments have been made, notably with a focus on providing relief to farmers. The announcement of increased farmer insurance from Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 16,000, distributed over five years totalling Rs. 80,000, has been met with widespread approval, especially from the agricultural community eagerly anticipating a loan waiver. This decision to boost farmer confidence without resorting to a loan waiver has garnered appreciation and is seen as a strategic move to secure Jagan's return to power.

The manifesto release has generated optimism and satisfaction among the people of the state, particularly with regard to the support extended to the farming community. The decision to provide financial assistance directly to farmers through Rythu Bharosa instead of a loan waiver is seen as a proactive measure to address their needs and concerns. As a result, Jagan's manifesto has been well-received, with hopes of its successful implementation contributing to his electoral prospects.
