RJD supremo's namesake Lalu withdrew nomination...

RJD supremo Lalu prasad Yadav's namesake Lalu Yadav, resident of Madhaura in Saran, had filed his nomination from saran Lok Sabha seat, which he withdrew. According to the information, now he has filed nomination from Maharajganj lok sabha constituency on monday (06 May), the last day of nomination. He filed nomination with 19 Maharajganj observer Aman Sameer, whose scrutiny is to be held today.

Lalu Yadav's namesake withdrew nomination

In fact, Lalu Yadav, the namesake of RJD supremo Lalu prasad Yadav, had filed his nomination from saran Lok Sabha constituency on 26 April. After scrutiny of nomination papers, his nomination papers were found to be completely valid, whereas the election affidavits of candidate rohini Acharya and bjp candidate rajeev Pratap Rudy were also accused of giving wrong affidavits by the other party. However, the returning officer rejected all the speculations and put an end to it.

RJD supremo had requested

Explaining the reason for withdrawal of his nomination, Lalu prasad said, "RJD supremo Lalu prasad Yadav had sent a special messenger and called him to his residence in Patna. He requested that this time my daughter rohini is a candidate from Saran. Hence in his support. Withdraw your nomination."

'No pressure or threat was given'

On the request of the RJD supremo, his namesake Lalu prasad went before lok sabha Returning Officer Shambhu sharan Pandey and withdrew his nomination in the presence of an election commission observer. He said that I have withdrawn the nomination from saran in favor of rohini on the emotional insistence of her father. I have not been given any kind of pressure or threat. I have voluntarily withdrawn my nomination. Let us tell you that saran Lok Sabha elections are on 20th May and Maharajganj elections are on 25th May.
