In the Mandi seat during the 2024 lok sabha Elections, kangana ranaut emerged victorious. The bollywood actress who is now a politician posted her thoughts about her first victory on X. "A victory of faith in prime minister Narendra Modi," she declared after winning.
"Heartfelt gratitude to all Mandi residents for this support, this love, and trust," kangana wrote beside a collage of photos depicting prime minister Modi. This is a triumph for Sanatan, a victory for Mandi's honor, a victory for all of you, and a victory for faith in prime minister Modi and the BJP. kangana had also posted images of her mother giving her curd and sugar spoons earlier in the day to wish her success. "My mother is the embodiment of God; she feeds me sugar and curd today," the woman remarked.
Himachal Pradesh's Mandi, Kangana's hometown, served as her contest location. Last month, the actress said that she would be running for office. The election commission of india said on Tuesday, june 4, that she had received 524079 votes. kangana was competing against vikramaditya Singh of the Congress.
Kangana stated earlier in the day, "Mandi has not taken kindly to the insults for daughters," in an interview with ANI. Regarding my move to Mumbai, this (Himachal Pradesh) is my "janmabhoomi," and I shall go on serving the people here. I am staying put, then.
