Kuwait fire Tragedy: Out of the 45 indian citizens who died in the fire in the building in Mangaf, kuwait, the bodies of 31 have reached Cochin international airport in kerala on friday morning. The deceased include 23 from kerala, 1 from karnataka, 3 from Andhra Pradesh, 7 from tamil Nadu, 1 from Bihar, 1 from Odisha, 1 from Maharashtra, 1 from Jharkhand, 1 from Haryana, 1 from punjab and 1 from West Bengal, besides 3 from Uttar Pradesh. According to the Uttar Pradesh State Relief Commissioner's Office, praveen Madhav Singh of Varanasi, Jairam Gupta and Angad Gupta of Gorakhpur have died in the kuwait accident.

The Modi government had sent a delegation led by minister of State for External Affairs kirti vardhan singh to kuwait on thursday to bring back the bodies of its citizens and help the injured Indians. kirti vardhan singh had met Kuwait's Foreign minister Abdullah ali Al-Yahya Al-Sabah and health minister ahmed Abdelwahab ahmed Al-Awadi and urged them to expedite the dna test of the bodies. After this, he also visited several hospitals and met the injured Indians. The Kuwaiti police had blamed electrical short circuit for this fire. Also, a Kuwaiti citizen and several foreign nationals have been arrested on charges of killing and injuring people due to negligence in safety measures.

5. After the kuwait government, Lulu Group also announced financial assistance

Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has announced financial assistance to the people who died in the accident. Modi government has already announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each for the families of the deceased. kerala has announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased.
