The accused husband Shivshankar Dutta suspected that his wife Pushpa Dutta had an immoral relationship with some other man. However, his eight-year-old son himself saw Shivshankar killing his mother. DCP Smita Patil of Zone 12 of Kandivali said that when this double murder was committed, it will be known only after the postmortem report comes. At present, the police is waiting for the postmortem report of the deceased. Samta nagar police got information about this on monday afternoon around 12.30 pm. When the police reached the spot in Saraswati Chawl, Narsipada, Kandivali east, they found the mother and son hanging from a nylon rope.

The accused tried to pass off the murder as suicide

The surprising thing in this whole case is that Shivshankar also tried to pass off the incident as suicide, but during the investigation, the female officers pooja Chavan and Kolpkar in the police team suspected him. On the basis of suspicion, when the police took the accused to the police station and interrogated him strictly, he confessed to killing his wife and son. According to the information, the police will now present the accused Shivshankar in the court.
