When the police reached the spot in Saraswati Chawl, Narsipada, Kandivali east, they found the mother and son hanging from a nylon rope.
The accused tried to pass off the murder as suicide
The surprising thing in this whole case is that Shivshankar also tried to pass off the incident as suicide, but during the investigation, the female officers pooja Chavan and Kolpkar in the police team suspected him. On the basis of suspicion, when the police took the accused to the police station and interrogated him strictly, he confessed to killing his wife and son.
