Political allegations and counter-allegations have intensified regarding the ahmedabad air india plane crash. He said that the government has stopped taking an important sector like civil aviation seriously. According to PTI, he made these allegations in a press conference on june 14.

government privatized national airline air india - Raut

Sanjay Raut said, "Civil aviation is an important sector but the government is not taking it seriously. The government has sold everything from airports to national airlines. From airports to our national airline air india has been privatized. The government thinks that its responsibility is over. If you have no responsibility then what were you doing at the accident site after the accident? Why did the prime minister go to the accident site? 300 people have died, the government is responsible, the Civil Aviation Ministry is responsible, the DGCA is responsible, the ATC is responsible." He said, "I am not an expert, but questions are being raised - did any enemy country carry out a cyber attack on the plane's system? As they try to target our military institutions." He also reminded that the bjp was earlier against the Boeing deal, when praful patel was the Civil Aviation Minister.

people have now started fearing air travel - Raut

He also raised questions on the maintenance of air India's aircraft. “People are now afraid of air travel. Who is responsible for maintaining the aircraft at ahmedabad airport? Why did the accident happen there? It is important to understand all this. The way the ministers were getting photographed on the debris is shameful.” Raut also alleged that nothing significant will come out of the investigation of this accident because the government is already in a defensive mode.

During the press conference, he also raised other issues. “Pulwama, Pahalgam, rail accidents – such big accidents have happened, did anyone resign? Modi ji is responsible. If there is no accountability, these incidents will be repeated.” He also said that trump is threatening india and accused fadnavis of injustice to the Marathas in Maharashtra. Raut said that now the time has come that the government will have to take direct responsibility otherwise the public's trust will be completely shaken.
