tuesday expressed surprise at this move and speculation continues about the reasons for the resignation. The
congress said that the
government should clarify why
jagdeep dhankhar resigned from the post of Vice President?
Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal said in the
parliament premises, "The
government should clarify why the Vice President resigned. I have seen the resignation of the Vice President. He has expressed gratitude to the
government, but the
government did not comment. The
government should have at least thanked him. He deserves it."
Congress General Secretary
jairam ramesh said, "Taking a very shocking step,
jagdeep dhankhar resigned from his post. He has cited his
health as the reason for this. We should respect it, but the truth is also that there are some deeper reasons behind it."
