New revelation has come about on No-Ball controversy...

Since the 34th match of IPL played between rajasthan Royals and delhi Capitals, 'No Ball Controversy' is in constant discussion. The captain has been fined 100% of the match, while shardul thakur 50% and assistant coach praveen Amre has been banned for one match after other members of the DC team including pant got furious.

Now a new revelation has come about this matter. According to the report, coach praveen Amre was not ready to leave the dugout and go to the field but he had to do so due to the insistence of captain rishabh Pant. pant had told Amre 'Sir, will you talk to the umpires or should I go?

At that time Amre felt that it would be unwise for the captain to go on the field. So, Amre went to the ground and talked to the umpires. However, his talk had no effect on the umpires and he did not declare a no ball.

There was a ruckus like this

Chasing RR's target of 223 runs, delhi Capitals needed 36 runs in the 20th over. Rovman Powell was in excellent form and hit six sixes in the first two balls of McCoy.

As soon as McCoy bowled the third ball, Powell hit it over midwicket for a six, but the ball was not digested by the members of the team sitting in the dugout including captain rishabh Pant. Felt that the ball was above Powell's waist and it should be called a no-ball. After this, pant sent Amre to the field and signaled to call the team back from the dugout. Shardul also supported Pant.

What is the no-ball rule?

In accordance with Marylebone cricket Club (MCC) Law 41.7.1, any delivery that is passed, or would have been above the waist height of the striker standing upright at the crease without notching, is considered a no-ball. Whenever such a ball is bowled, the umpire shall call and signal a no-ball.

As per IPL conditions, if the ball is above the waist, it can be called a no-ball. In the case of a waist-height no-ball, the on-field umpire's decision is final if the batsman is not dismissed on the same delivery.
