If one does archana in his name, he accumulates Punya palan and thereby he or she is bound to be reborn, but by doing Archanai in the name of God Himself, the palan of that Archanai goes to God Himself and there is no residue left with that person to be reborn. Archana is a form of pooja or simply a form of prayer.

When we pray we accept our inability to solve a problem ourselves and hence in seeking ourselves as lesser, our ego is reduced. With a reduction in ego there is a temporary rise in spiritual level. This causes a temporary increase in subtle basic Sattva component. Hence, our communion with God increases.

Also when a person prays, they remember God intensely and have an intimate dialogue with Him about issues very close to their heart. Prayers have the ability to activate the deity principles in the Universe.

The subtlest frequencies are generated when one pays gratitude along with the prayer. These frequencies have the ability to not only activate but also touch the deity; hence the deity principle is activated faster. This activation of the deity principle results in fulfillment of prayers.
