As per report it was stated that it looks like former Indian cricket skipper and current Bengal cricket Association president Sourav Ganguly is all set to become the chief of BCCI (Board of Control for cricket in India) on Monday. Meanwhile Ganguly is expected to become the BCCI boss, Home Minister Amit Shah's son Jay Shah is likely to emerge as BCCI Secretary and Arun Dhumal (brother of former BCCI chief Anurag Thakur) will be new treasurer.

Furthermore the 47 year old Sourav Ganguly is currently acting as Bengal cricket Association Chief and his term as BCCI president will end in September 2020 as he will be going into the mandatory cooling-off period. Perhaps at the meeting of state representatives of BCCI in mumbai on Sunday, Ganguly and former president Brijesh Patel were two key candidates in the race.

Moreover since Ganguly has denied the proposal to be the chairman of IPL and considering the opposition from state associations to Brijesh Patel's nomination, Sourav Ganguly is likely to become the BCCI chairman unopposed and so, members of BCCI have decided to make Brijesh Patel as IPL chairman. Apparently the suspense on Ganguly's selection will end today.
