With this victory, the indian team once again took the lead and became the first team to qualify for the semi-finals. india won the world cup for the seventh time in a row. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka's defeat further increased Pakistan's hopes of reaching the semi-finals. The indian team snatched the No. 1 crown from south africa by scoring 14 points. south africa led by Bouma is relegated to second place with 12 points. india is the only team that has not lost a match so far in this World Cup. At the same time, sri lanka suffered their fifth defeat in the seventh match.
This further increases Pakistan's hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals.

Because currently pakistan has 3 wins and sri lanka has 2 wins after 7 matches for each country. In such a situation, pakistan can benefit more from defeating new zealand,  the team at the bottom of group 4. And pakistan will only meet new zealand in the next match. But at the same time, we must not forget afghanistan, who has a better chance of reaching the semi-finals than Pakistan. Because the Afghan team has won 3/6 matches so far, the team  shocked other teams by winning against strong teams in this World Cup. Thanks to that, the Afghan team is expected to win the next 3 matches and enter the top 4. Currently, australia is ranked 3rd ahead of new zealand in the top 4. Besides the top 4, how are the remaining countries?

Among the top 4 positions are pakistan in fifth position with 6 points and afghanistan in 6th position with 6 points. Pakistan's net execution rate is higher than Afghanistan's. Followed by sri lanka in seventh position with 4 points and negative net run rate  -1.162. netherlands in eighth position with 4 points and negative net run rate -1.277 and bangladesh relegated to ninth position, and defending champion England finished 10th  with 2 points.
