The decision will take place during the Commonwealth Games General assembly in Glasgow.
India's Bid and Competition:
India was in contention with nigeria to host the 2030 Games.
While india received the recommendation, the Commonwealth Games Federation expressed interest in supporting Nigeria’s bid for the future.
Support for Nigeria:
The Executive Board plans to develop a long-term hosting strategy with Nigeria.
Nigeria is now being considered for hosting a future edition, potentially the 2034 Commonwealth Games.
