Senior actress Rashi is a well-known name in Tollywood. She started her career in movies as a child artist and with her beauty and talent rose as a leading lady. She acted opposite star heroes and star directors in many superhit movies. With the Subhakankshalu movie opposite Jagapathi Babu, she became a big name in the industry. She later starred opposite top heroes like Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan, srikanth etc.

After her stint as heroine, when the heroine roles were reduced she also acted as a villain. Her villain role in teja directorial nijam movie however didn't go down well with the family audience. Her negative role didn't fall in the likes of her fans. Later she tied the knot and settled down in life. She kept herself away from the movies for a few years.

Couple of years back she started her second innings and is doing pretty well. She recently debuted on the small screen with the Janaki Kakaganaledhu serial. Her role of Gyanambha  in the serial is winning hearts. Coming to the point, Rashi is taking a huge remuneration for this serial. It is heard that she is accepting around 1 lakh as remuneration for her role in the soap. Considering her role and the kind of performance she is doing, it is justified to give her that huge remuneration.
