Rumors circulated leading up to the last episode about the possibility of big-name DCEU figures making appearances. We didn't see Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam, but we did get some Justice League deliciousness. The group crossed Aquaman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Superman, who waited at the perimeter appearing battle-ready — with only Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa showcasing their faces — as they leave the Butterfly devastation behind them.

Peacemaker shouts, "You're late, you f*cking d*ckheads!" "A**hole, go f*ck another fish!"

"I'm so f*cking tired of that rumour," Aquaman informs The Flash as the gang passes.

The Flash says, "It's... not a rumour."

"F*ck you, Barry," says the narrator.

One thing is certain: you don't see Justice League superheroes throwing f-bombs left and right every day. james Gunn, you've done a fantastic job.

Peacemaker will comeback for Season 2 according to HBO Max, which was confirmed on Wednesday, february 16. We don't know when or what will happen, but the notion that john Cena will be seen in that crazy super-suit again is reason to rejoice. And, let's be honest, Peacemaker has lived through a number since the beginning of the series. He was imprisoned for treason, battled a Butterfly, was falsely accused of murder, killed his father, and demolished a massive space cow. This gentleman, if there was ever a person who needed a break, it was him.
