The conclusion of DC's action-packed and surprisingly poignant Peacemaker series has arrived on HBO Max, and it's full of unexpected twists and turns, including a cameo by a famous DC character filmed by Marvel. The first tv series set in the DCEU was james Gunn's spinoff of his own The Suicide Squad. It follows john Cena's ethically ambiguous crimefighter as he learns to make friends and influence people while foiling a convoluted alien plan and dealing with the effects of his horrific background.

After Peacemaker and his allies have finally beaten the butterflies in the Peacemaker season 1 finale, the squad faces four distinctly recognisable silhouetted individuals. They're Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe. Peacemaker is not pleased to see them and chastises the Justice Leaguers for arriving late, despite the fact that they missed all of the severe combat and came long after Danielle Brooks' mother, Amanda Waller, requested that the Justice League be sent as backup.

Peacemaker also takes advantage of the chance to adamantly state that Aquaman prefers the sexual company of fish. It is stated at this time that Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller have returned to reprise their legendary roles. Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa, says he's weary of people circulating tales about his alleged affinity for aquatic creatures. The Flash jokes that the storey is true, which Aquaman rejects with a rational "F*ck you, Barry."
