Artificial intelligence (AI) is about to disrupt white-collar employment in a full-size way, consistent with Fiverr CEO Micha Kaufman. In a recent internal memo to employees, he mentioned several professional roles he believes could soon be automatic—including his personal one—if current trends in AI improvement continue.


Roles susceptible to AI disruption


Kaufman recognized 8 process classes he believes are particularly inclined: programmers, designers, product managers, information scientists, attorneys, customer service marketers, salespeople, and finance professionals. Those roles, which depend heavily on established problem-fixing, choice-making, and communication, are actually being computerized with huge language models and generative AI tools.


Even executive leadership might not be exempt. "My task as a CEO is also likely to be replaced," Kaufman said, suggesting that strategic selections and operational oversight should in the future be managed by way of AI systems.


Upskilling is advised across groups.
