Tihar Jail Gangwar: For the third time in two months, two prisoners were seriously injured in Tihar Jail.
Delhi Crime News: Two gangsters have been murdered in the tihar jail of the national capital during the last two months. This was followed by claims of tight security, which blew up on Monday.


Tihar Jail, which claims to be the most secure jail in the country, has once again become a gang war on Monday. Knives, needles and other sharp weapons were used fiercely in the gang war between two groups of prisoners in Central Jail No-1 of tihar jail, due to which two prisoners were seriously injured. Both had to be admitted to the hospital, where their condition remains critical. This incident has raised questions on the tihar jail system, which was claimed to be foolproof just 27 days ago after a well-known gangster was stabbed to death 100 times inside a high security cell.


According to the tihar jail Administration, two groups of undertrials clashed in Ward No. 2 of Central Jail No. 1. In this confrontation, a prisoner named Alok alias vishal s/o Manoj Giri attacked another prisoner named rahul alias Pawan s/o Santram with a needle. Alok's companions also came together in this attack which took place at around 12.38 pm. These people were also carrying country-made knives, rags etc. in the jail. They badly injured rahul by stabbing him with needle and knife. During this, Alok himself also got seriously injured.

heavy police force called in jail

Jail officials immediately admitted both the injured prisoners to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Jail authorities called heavy police force inside the jail to control the situation. The police force separated all the groups of prisoners. Information about this incident has been registered in Harinagar police station. The police station has started the investigation. An FIR will be registered against the prisoners found guilty in the investigation.

Third incident of gang war in two months

The security of tihar jail is also being questioned because this is the third gang war incident there in two months. Earlier on May 2, gangster Tillu Tajpuria of Tajpur was brutally murdered by the henchmen of Jitendra Gogi gang by adopting him with pigs. The CCTV video of the murder committed by entering the high security cell also went viral on social media. Before that, another famous gangster Prince Tewatia was also murdered inside Tihar Jail.
