Two advertisements released recently referencing the festivals of diwali and Karva Chauth caused a lot of outrage on social media. The first ad for Fab india portrayed a gay couple celebrating the Karva Chauth holiday, and the second ad for Dabur's famed Bleach Cream featured a gay couple celebrating diwali as 'Jashn-e-Riwaj.'

As the uproar grew, people on social media labelled both of these advertising as "anti-Hinduism," and the companies apologized and pulled the ads. Meanwhile, a popular designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's commercial has been targeted by users on social media.

Mangalsutra advertisement with gay couples

People began teasing designer Sabyasachi after he posted photos from his new jewellery ad campaign, 'Intimate Fine Jewellery,' on instagram on Wednesday.

In fact, numerous models are depicted promoting the jewellery brand's Mangalsutra in the images of this advertising. Couples and gay couples can be seen wearing 'The Royal bengal Mangalsutra,' which is part of a new jewellery collection. On social media, people expressed their displeasure with the attack on Hindu culture.

People began opposing this advertising as soon as the photographs went popular on social media, calling it filthy. In their comments on social media, users stated that this advertisement is an attack on Hindu culture and was created to hurt religious sentiments.

People are requesting that this advertisement be taken down by leaving comments on the images.

Women have pushed the boundaries, gorgeous picture shoots have been done in front of the father's corpse, and people have placed a premium on class.

'At first, I mistook it for advertising for underwear.'

On social media, some people linked the advertising to Kamasutra. 'Mangalsutra or Kamasutra,' wrote one person. Another person commented on the photos, saying, 'At first I thought it was an advertising for underwear, but then I read your caption and realized it was intimate fine jewellery.'

'Who is it that sells Mangalsutra in this manner?'

Simultaneously, several users expressed their anger with Sabyasachi's advertising, claiming that it depicted the Mangalsutra worn on the occasion of holy relationships such as marriage in a negative light.

'What has happened to you these days, Sabyasachi?' wrote one person. Who is it that sells Mangalsutra in this way? If you have bravery, show it by selling burqas and amulets in this manner. Stop offending Hindu sensibilities.

The user demanded that the advertisement be taken down. Another user commented on the images from Sabyasachi's marketing campaign, saying, 'Sabyasachi, this is a very terrible advertisement.' You're promoting Mangalsutra with nudity and vulgarity in your material.

This is a calculated attempt to inflame Hindu feelings. Remove this message from the internet as soon as possible. 'Jewelry is such a wonderful piece of art, this ad might have been produced in a better way,' another internet user shared his anger.
