A disturbing video has appeared online showing a mother dumping her 3-year-old kid into a bear enclosure. The event occurred in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, at a zoo. The woman can be seen in the footage dumping the child she was holding over the bear pit's rails. The mom was seen on CCTV hoisting the tiny daughter over the rails in her arms. Visitors gasped in horror as she threw the infant into the bear pit.

Zuzu, a Caucasian black bear, got quite close to the toddler. Six zookeepers came in a matter of seconds. They were successful in rescuing the girl, and one of them brought her to safety. In the midst of the massive crowd, her mom can be seen sitting and watching. According to a statement in the Daily Mail, the girl's mother was eventually arrested and charged with attempted murder. If convicted, she risks a sentence of 15 years in prison.

However, the 3-year-old baby was injured in the accident, suffering from a concussion, head cuts, and bruising. She received a mild shock as well, but her body showed no indications of the bear's assault."In front of all the guests, a young woman flung a little girl into a brown bear's enclosure." It was impossible to tell what her motivation was. "Both tourists and zoo personnel attempted, but unsuccessful, to stop her," stated a zoo spokesman.
