'Making 155 families homeless is against the policy'
delhi congress Chief said that the government is patting its back by making alternative arrangements for some selected 215 families in Narela, while making 155 families helpless and homeless is against the established policy. Whereas the high court and supreme court have directed that no slum will be demolished without alternative arrangements.
'BJP had promised in its manifesto'
Devendra Yadav said that the first priority of the rekha Gupta government should be to start settling the displaced families by giving them alternative housing instead of leaving them on the streets. He said that the bjp had promised in its manifesto for the delhi Assembly elections that it would give additional 3.5 lakh concrete houses like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) to the people in areas like Kalkaji and ashok Vihar. But after the inhuman action taken by the government in Madrasi Camp, the anti-poor face of the rekha Gupta government has been exposed.
'Even their livelihood was snatched away'
Along with this, he said that this colony near Jangpura existed for more than 60 years. But the bjp government has done impractical and inhuman work by running a bulldozer on it, by which the poor JJ cluster residents have been ruined and even their livelihood has been snatched away.

The congress leader said that their children's education will also be affected after this. He said that in the flats allotted to poor people in Narela, there is no provision for electricity and water connection and there is no proper transport connectivity to reach here.
