The Bar Council of India has officially released the rechecking result for the All india Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 on its portal. Candidates who applied for re‑evaluation of their AIBE 20 answer sheets can now check and download their updated result online.
What Is the AIBE 20 Rechecking Result?
The AIBE 20 exam was conducted on 30 november 2025, and its initial results were declared earlier on 7 january 2026. After the publication of the results, candidates who were not satisfied with their scores were given an opportunity to request rechecking of their OMR sheets. The Bar Council of india has now announced the outcome of that re‑evaluation process.
How to Check and Download Your AIBE 20 Rechecking Result
To view your updated result:
Visit the official AIBE portal at allindiabarexamination.com.
Click on the link titled “Rechecking Result AIBE‑XX”.
Log in with your User ID and password (and captcha, if prompted).
Your rechecking result status will appear on the screen.
Download and save your updated scorecard for future reference.
Certificate of Practice (CoP) for Qualified Candidates
Candidates who have qualified the All india Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 after the rechecking process will be eligible to receive their Certificate of Practice (CoP), which is mandatory to practice law in India. The Board will issue the physical certificate, generally available through the respective State Bar Councils after completing all formalities.
AIBE 21 Registration and Upcoming Exam
Alongside the result, the Bar Council of india has also opened registrations for AIBE 21.
- The next exam (AIBE 21) is scheduled to be conducted on 7 june 2026.
- Candidates can apply online, and the last date for registration is 30 april 2026.
- The admit card is expected to be released around 22 May 2026.

- Ensure you download and print your updated result after logging in.
- Keep a copy of your rechecked result for future CoP applications.
- If your result still shows withheld or fail, you can appear for the next exam cycle (AIBE 21).
