New Delhi: punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann has announced the establishment of the Anti-Corruption Helpline on march 23, the death anniversary of freedom warrior Bhagat Singh. The helpline would be his personal whatsapp number, according to the CM. "My Personal whatsapp Number" will be the hotline.

The hotline, according to the cm, is for uploading films of corrupt officials and individuals who solicit bribes or participate in other illegal activities. "Corrupt officials have no place in my government. If any such complaint comes to my notice, do not expect any sympathy from such officials." - Addressing his first meeting since taking over as chief minister, he said. "The real rulers of a democracy are the people who have given us the opportunity to serve the state and have the power to rule or oust leaders," Mann said.

The chief minister asked the government to carry out their duties fearlessly without any political pressure. "I do not keep a red diary like previous political parties, I only have a green diary, so you do not have to worry about any revenge," he added.

At the same time, the chief minister announced that the Civil and police Officers' Award for Outstanding Performance would be given every three months for making a difference in the lives of the lower castes.
