Rajpal looked excited to play the role of a journalist, said, I got the film 'Kathal' by deception
Rajpal Yadav, the comedy king of hindi films, is known for his choice of characters. Rajpal is one such actor who keeps on doing all kinds of characters that are classy and maasi. Rajpal said that he is always looking for the character of a common man. However, regarding his new film 'Kathal', he says that he did this film by cheating.

Rajpal is playing the role of a journalist in the film 'Kathal'. Talking about his character, Rajpal says, 'I believe that a person who is full of inside is a big prankster but there is also a lot of intelligence inside him. If you leave the big cities and go towards the villages, you will see how difficult the life of the people is. I would like to play the character of every person from whom our country can learn something. We are actors, cannot do much for the country, but as an entertainer, I want to play the character of every common man because of which people get bread.'

Rajpal says, 'When I came to know the name of the film 'Kathal', I could not believe that such a film could exist. I didn't think there would be a film like this. But when I came to know that it was written by ashok Mishra, then I became a bit serious. After that when I came to know that my character is that of a journalist, I felt a little better. Actually I was in search of the role of journalist for a long time. Or should I say that I am still in search. I know many such journalists, if a film is made on their life, it can be a huge hit. That's why I want to do such a character. And by deception this good film came into my hands.

Sanya Malhotra is in the lead role in the film 'Kathal'. Apart from this, the film also stars Vijay Raaz, Anant Vijay Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, brijendra kala in key roles. The film is directed by ashish Mishra and produced by Guneet Monga and ekta Kapoor. The film 'Kathal' is going to release on Netflix on 19 May 2023.
