devoleena spoke on trolling on marriage, said- 'If Shahnawaz had not stopped, she would have given a befitting reply'
Recently, tv actress devoleena bhattacharjee has spoken about her secret court marriage and the trolling she has been subjected to during her marriage.
tv show 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' fame 'Gopi Bahu' i.e. devoleena bhattacharjee has been in the limelight ever since she tied the knot with her boyfriend Shahnawaz Sheikh. While her fans are happy for the actress, there are others who are trolling her for secretly marrying her gym trainer. Now recently, the actress has spoken about her marriage and the trolling she is getting about marriage.
marriage a secret, devoleena said, “I wanted to do my marriage like this. We had taken a sudden decision to get married. We had a court marriage followed by a get-together in the evening at a resort in Lonavala. His (Shahnawaz Shaikh) family had organized a reception for us a day later. We kept our wedding a secret as Shonu wanted to keep it private.”
Talking about their first meeting, the tv actress said, "Shehnawaz is a fitness trainer. He also runs a cable and internet business. We met at a gym around four years ago and dated for three years before tying the knot." Dated for a year. I had proposed to him and I had also taken the initiative for marriage. I was suffering from back injury at that time, as well as was in a lot of tension. My family was not here with me, then Shahnawaz came as a boon for me. He knows how to calm my anger and aggression. He is my rock."
Giving a befitting reply to the trollers after her marriage with Shahnawaz, devoleena said, "Who are these people and who knows them?" Who are you to comment on my life? The problem is, whoever you marry, you will be trolled. If you marry a rich man, you will be called a 'gold digger'. If you marry a good looking guy, they will tell you that the match is not good. On the other hand, if you marry a guy who is good at heart but average in looks, then also people will have a problem and they will say 'Devo, yeh kya match dhoondha hai?'. So these people are such, who cannot tolerate the happiness of others.
If they can't respect a woman on social media, I wonder how they must be treating their mothers and sisters at home. He is so concerned about me that he sent me pictures of the fridge and suitcase.
