New Delhi, The Formula 1 Academy has once again shown its commitment to nurturing young talent by extending its support to 10-year-old indian racing prodigy Atiqa Mir. Atiqa has recently been selected for the Champions of the Future Academy Program (COTFA) UAE, a newly launched initiative aimed at identifying and developing the next generation of motorsport champions.

As part of this expanded support, Atiqa will receive backing from the F1 Academy during the two-round national karting championship in the UAE. This comes in addition to the assistance she already receives for various competitions, including the international COTFA series, through the Discover Your Drive (DYD) program.

Atiqa’s inclusion in these programs highlights her exceptional talent at a very young age and underscores India’s growing footprint in global motorsports. The support from Formula 1 Academy provides her with access to advanced training, mentorship, and competitive exposure—critical ingredients for building a successful racing career.

This move also aligns with Formula 1’s larger vision of promoting diversity and fostering young talent across different regions, offering a pathway for promising drivers from india and other countries to compete on the international stage.
