Unknown criminals brutally murdered a 78-year-old man and his son on friday in Hyderabad's uppal neighbourhood. With sharp edged weapons, the attackers broke into narasimha Murthy's home and killed both him and his son srinivas (35). The tragic occurrence took place in the Rachakonda police Commissionerate's uppal police Station's jurisdiction, in Hanuman Sai Nagar.

When the help arrived at the residence and discovered the remains of the dead, the murder was discovered about six in the morning. She told Murthy's eldest son, who resides apart. srinivas, a software engineer, had just visited his father in Malaysia. While his father resided on the ground floor, he did so on the first story. Family members believe srinivas attempted to save his father before dying.

The murders are thought to have been caused by a property dispute. Teams have been organised by Rachakonda police to find the offenders. In the court, a case involving a property dispute was ongoing. Murthy was attacked when Covid-19 was under lockdown, but the family members assumed a small-time thief was to blame.
