The anti-caste activist pawan kalyan said that if granted power, he would work to ensure that all caste leaders are in a position to carry out their duties at the machilipatnam "10 years of Janasena" event. He added that he has known vangaveeti Ranga since he was a young boy.

In relation to this, he added, "When I was young, I have known vangaveeti Ranga. I welcomed him to our home and served him tea. I realise that to Kapus, he is like a god. But why didn't the Pamarru, Gudivada, and machilipatnam Kapus rush to save him when he was perishing?"

It is unknown whether the Kapus knew of Ranga's impending death on that specific date in 1988, hence it is unclear why he asked this question. Pawan might be highlighting the division among the Kapus or he might be expressing his concern that no one would defend him if he was attacked. But, it is still not obvious.

Going on, Pawan added that Ratnakumari, a Kamma, and vangaveeti Ranga, a Kapu, got married and had a good life. Pawan makes the implication that a marriage between the tdp and janasena ought to be similar. He made the implication that since they cannot fight as a single caste, all Kapus should unite with Kammas. During vangaveeti Ranga's time and thereafter, some Kapu leaders desired to view Kapus, Telagas, Balijas, and Ontaris as one united group, resulting in their combined population comprising around 20% in Andhra Pradesh.

But, they were never able to gain control since these communities continued to quarrel with one another over differences. Kapus and Kammas, who are bitter enemies in the politics of the Krishna-Guntur district, are currently being combined by Pawan Kalyan. Like at each previous meeting, Pawan's speech continued to include caste-related topics.
