AIADMK ex-minister SB Velumani's bank account and lockers have been frozen in a tender fraud case. The tamil Nadu Anti-Corruption Department has taken the next step following the raids conducted at SP Velumani's residence and office premises. Earlier, former minister SP Velumani was also accused of handing over tenders to people closer to him and his family members.

Anti-corruption officials, who have filed cases of tender malpractice, have raided more than 60 locations related to SP Velumani the day before yesterday. Even though he said to the press people that he was given clean chit by the officials, today all his bank accounts and lockers were completely frozen and all the financial transactions are being monitored by the Cyber Branch Officials.

The raid also continued in Coimbatore, tamil Nadu where SP Velumani's relatives hold some assets. Recently, ADMK Organizers EPS and OPS together released a press statement in support of SP Velumani revealing that these raids are just a revenge act by cm MK stalin and nothing else. They also asked stalin to focus on the betterment of tamil Nadu people instead of targeting them always without any proper piece of evidence.
