Earthquake: Big earthquake in iran, the earth shook in dubai before t20 world cup final

On sunday, the final match of the t20 world cup was played in dubai, UAE. The Finals was expected to start by 7.30 pm indian time, but simply before that earthquake shakings have been observed in most areas in Dubai.

According to Arab News, there was an earthquake of 6.2 magnitudes in southern iran on sunday evening. The aftershocks which were felt in the uae and people in dubai also felt the earthquake.

Aftershocks were observed in different parts of dubai for 2-3 minutes, due to which people came out of their apartments, offices and buildings.

Earthquakes are a concern during the t20 world cup final between australia and New Zealand. While the match was taking place in dubai, there were tremors in southern Iran.

That too was recorded as high in intensity. It is 6.5 on the Richter scale. The quake struck at Bandar abbas City. This was reported by the european Mediterranean Seismological Agency.

The intensity will also have an impact on the surrounding countries. The quake affected Jumeirah Lake Towers, Nada, Deira, Barsa, dubai Investment Park and Discovery Garden. There were also tremors in sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
