3 children die as building collapses in Andhra Pradesh

Three Children and an aged woman died in the kadiri town of andhra pradesh in Anantapur district due to a three-story building collapse at 3 a.m on Saturday. The building collapsed leaving the residents trapped inside. Six people were rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment. police and fire officials were present for rescue operations on the spot. On Friday, Severe rainfall was seen in parts of Andhra Pradesh. Over fifteen people are trapped inside the building. Rescue operations are under process. The under-construction building fell on the nearby houses, killing three children and an elderly woman in the house. The remaining person trapped inside is said to be alive. A heavy downpour of 20 cm was seen in the rayalaseema districts and southern part of Andhra Pradesh. Around eight people died due to heavy rainfall.
