The Skill Development - Data science Hackthon was introduced by Sri Challa madhusudhan Reddy, Advisor to the government (SD&T) of ap, Sri Konduru ajay Reddy garu, Chairman APSSDC, Sri. S Satyanarayana, Md-APSSDC, and IES CEO Mr. raj Vangapandu. In accordance with the directives of the inspirational chief minister Sri. Y.S. jagan Mohan reddy garu, APSSDC is creating a special ecosystem for ap engineering students to receive the greatest training possible in order to prepare them for the workforce through their skill-building initiatives.

Nearly 1200 students from all throughout the state have completed the "Data Sciences" certification as part of the emerging technologies certification project by APSSDC and Indo Euro Synchronization, a company located in germany and India. These students came from a variety of public and private universities as well as private engineering colleges throughout the state.
In keeping with the Data science, the 12-week Internship programme offered by IES in collaboration with APSSDC focuses on HACKTHON, a social coding competition that brings programmers and other interested individuals together to enhance or create new software. This encourages students to become more competitive by helping them to solve problems with an industrial focus.
