Other than Hollywood, serial killer moviemaking is a specialty of Korean cinema. Numerous Korean serial killer thrillers achieved international success. KV Guhan, best known for his work on the film "118," who is now a filmmaker, addressed a similar theme in "Highway," which made its Aha Video debut on august 19. In "Highway," which stars abhishek Bannerjee of "Paatal Lok" fame, manasa Radhakrishnan, and anand deverakonda as the key actors, a serial killer is on the loose.

A photographer from vizag named Vishnu (Anand Deverakonda) consents to film a pre-wedding shoot in Bengaluru. tulasi (Manasa Radhakrishnan), a sweet young girl travelling to mangalore to meet her father, is introduced to him. vishnu consents to drop her off at the kalyan Durga bus stop after falling in love with her at first sight. In the meantime, D is being sought after by the hyderabad police, led by officer Asha (Saiyami Kher) (Abhishek Banerjee). He being on the Bengaluru highway provides the police with a lead. Will D's next stop on the trip be Tulasi?

People meet for a cause and meetings might alter one's destiny in life, the opening sentence of the movie says. The thriller's idea is plausible. However, the narration follows a well-worn path. Neither Tulasi-story Vishnu's nor the serial killer's are compelling enough. The wild animal-based climax is ridiculous.

Even though the movie only lasts two hours, director Guhan has chosen to include less exciting material. The major lead in "Middle-Class Melodies," which anand deverakonda played, is a minor role. manasa Radhakrishnan, a recent arrival, is ideal for the role of the naive rural girl. abhishek banerjee plays a serial killer, and saiyami kher plays a police officer.
