In Black Adam, Henry Cavill's Superman makes a solo return, but where are the Justice League for the crucial scene? Despite the fact that Superman has recently been absent from the DC Extended Universe, Black Adam's post-credits scene makes up for this by bringing Henry Cavill back. Superman has only made two faceless cameos since the Justice League movie five years ago; this is his first full-body appearance since then. Thanks to his meeting with Black Adam, Superman has suddenly been thrust back into the spotlight, but it also raises the odd question of why the Justice League is not accompanying the Man of Steel.

Strangely, Superman is the only member of the Justice League in Black Adam without the whole squad. The film clearly demonstrates the strength of Dwayne Johnson's DC anti-hero. Even Superman might benefit from the support since he has proven to be capable of defeating the Justice Society on his own. Even though some of its members aren't really helpful in the fight against Black Adam, the Justice League's appearance alongside Henry Cavill's return of Superman would have been a powerful sign of unity that they would stop him if necessary. The entire burden of accountability is instead placed on Superman.

The absence of the whole Justice League team from Black Adam's Superman scenario can be attributed to two key factors. To begin with, without Superman's assistance, superheroes like Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash would not be able to stop Black Adam. In that sense, Superman is the most crucial participant and the key to stopping Black Adam. It's also possible that Waller invited Superman just because of his strength and because he didn't want to risk another Black Adam-related event. Black Adam is undoubtedly a Justice League-level menace in the right circumstance, but Superman might have been sent to defuse the situation.
